"Circulator" is a 10 minute video installation located at the Brightwater sewage treatment center outside of Seattle, WA. Five rectangles, a porthole centered below them, and a circular hole in the floor depict a dream-like experience of the cyclical journey of water.
My job was to composite, animate, choreograph, or otherwise digitally manipulate different kinds of footage to bring Jim's vision to life. The result is a "stream of consciousness" style film that sometimes seems to depict nature in action, and sometimes reveals the inner workings of some kind of strange machine.
